This excursion to the city of Cordoba creates an understanding of how Jews, Christians and Muslims lived together in peace and harmony in the most scientifically advanced city of the Middle Ages. Your guide will begin the tour inside the mosque, converted into a cathedral after the reconquest in 1236.
The tour starts with a tour of the world famous mesquite.
We will walk through the Jewry, known for its jewelers, walking among the white houses and red gardenias so typical of the Andalusian architecture. Finish the tour of Cordoba with a visit to one of the few synagogues remaining in Spain.
