Travelling to and around Gibraltar

August is the hottest month in Gibraltar with an average temperature of 25°C (76°F) and the coldest is January at 14°C (56°F) with the most daily sunshine hours at 11 in July. The best month to swim in the sea is in July when the average sea temperature is 22°C (72°F).

Although small in area, 6.7sq kms, and much of that taken up by 'The Rock', Gibraltar has a fascinating history much of which can be explored by the visitor. There is plenty to do and see for those wanting to spend a short break.
