he first National Association of Decorative & Fine Arts (NADFAS) was started in 1965 by our founder Patricia Fay. In 1968 the national organization was formed, becoming a charity in 1972. Some 50 years later NADFAS was rebranded as The Arts Society. There are now more than 90,000 members worldwide.
Interest in the fine arts has a huge following among expatriates in southern Spain. This interest has led to the creation of societies in Fuengirola, Nerja, San Roque, Gibraltar and Javea.
A programme of 8 lectures from September – May encompassing a broad range of topics including fine arts, theatre and dance throughout the ages and across the world.
There are more than 300 accredited Arts Society lecturers delivering high-quality, entertaining and informative lectures. In addition, there will be a variety of visits to places of interest and social events.
