The El Portillo reservoir or El Portillo Dam is located on the Castril River, in the municipality of Castril, in the province of Granada. The river that feeds the embalse is born in the Sierra de Castril and flows into the Guadiana Menor river, in the municipal districts of Benamaurel and Baza. A tranquil and scenic place for a picnic
