Mediterranean Fishing in April 2019 in Andalucia

By Nick Nutter | 24 Apr 2019

April saw the start of our annual visitors’ season bringing us back some old friends and introducing new ones.

Spanish Mediterranean S.L.

Although the month brought varied weather conditions, we did manage to go fishing on the better days. On almost every trip we were joined by our local dolphin pod. This never fails to delight our regulars and new folk alike.

Our catch was the usual mix of Sea Bream, Dorada, Mackerel and ‘Vaca de Estepona’ - all good eaters, ideal for the barbecue. We do try to operate ‘catch and release’ unless our visitors are taking them home to eat.

On one trip there was the added excitement of some good Conger eels - great fighters and not always easy to land.

We are looking forward to another full and exciting season
