The 2.8 kilometre beach at Canos de Meca starts at the historic site of Cape Trafalgar and runs east to a tall cliff. Behind the golden sandy beach is an expanse of pine trees, part of La Brena Natural Park. Those that explore the foot of the cliffs will find small secluded bays. Just offshore there are a number of reefs that are good for diving and snorkeling. The beach has changing rooms and showers, five chirinquitos during the summer and, at last count, ten restaurants.
