Málaga Festival began in 1998. It’s aim is to promote and disseminate Spanish cinematography. The Festival de Cine Málaga presents the best documentaries and short films made by renowned directors and producers as well as enthusiastic amateurs hoping to break into the market.

During the week long festival there are presentations of films and documentaries, exhibitions featuring authors, producers and directors, book presentations and more. The Málaga Film Festival is now well established in the world calendar of cinema events.
