One of the beauties of skiing in Andalucia is that you can zip down a snow slope in the Sierra Nevada and, two hours later, find yourself behind a boat being towed through the Mediterranean. Water skiing in the warm waters of the Mediterranean or the crisp, clear Atlantic was one of the first water sports to take off in Andalucia. A more recent sport, wakeboarding, is becoming as popular.

Ski boats and ski trips can be arranged from most of the marinas dotted along the coast from Huelva to Almeria. The coast ranges from the white sand beaches of Cádiz to the volcanic cliffs and coves of the Cabo de Gata. The marinas from glitzy places frequented by the rich and famous such as Puerto Banus, to secluded moorings hidden away in sheltered coves like Marina del Este. So, from west to east, here are the best marinas in Andalucia from which you can arrange your water skiing or wakeboarding.
