Water skiing in the warm waters of the Mediterranean or the crisp, clear Atlantic was one of the first water sports to take off in Andalucia. A more recent sport, wakeboarding, is becoming as popular.
Ski boats and ski trips can be arranged from most of the marinas dotted along the coast from Huelva to Almeria. The coast ranges from the white sand beaches of Cádiz to the volcanic cliffs and coves of the Cabo de Gata. The marinas from glitzy places frequented by the rich and famous such as Puerto Banus, to secluded moorings hidden away in sheltered coves like Marina del Este.
